Hello baby O - | studio photography...

What a wonderful session I had a couple of months ago with this beautiful little lady and her Mummy and Daddy.  I was thrilled to be asked to document little Miss O by her parents; capturing her being her in as natural an environment as possible, to really appreciate all the little details that will change so quickly and probably already have by now since these photographs were taken.

Baby O was 2 months old here - just starting to smile and be really aware of the world around her.  She was happy and a pleasure to photograph along with her parents.  We concentrated on capturing images of togetherness and the special bond of a brand new family as baby makes 3.

While he's still a baby... studio photography.

I have had these images sat in a 'draft' post for a while.  For some reason the post had disappeared off my workspace and I hadn't realised.  This morning I can see it again, so posting this asap before the inerbugs decide to hide it from me again.  This is not a little face I think should be hidden.

I can't express strongly enough how fabulous this little fella was in my studio!  Such happy, smiling baby boy.  I don't think I saw a glum face or any moans in the whole 2 hours we eventually spent in each other's company over 2 sittings.  He laughed, gurgled and kept himself entertained so sweetly while I snapped away.  And there were clothing changes too...  What an absolute star!

I'm Aunty Fleur!

There really is something about time flying with newborns.  I have sat on my backside and forgot that I had these precious images of my brand new niece here and all set up for an announcement blog post!  

I've been an Aunty since mid July and captured the images on this blog when my amazing little niece was less than 2 weeks old.   So now, as I type this I am marvelling at just how much she has grown already since meeting her.  My brother and sister-in-law came home to visit with her last week and her growth makes these photographs from just a couple of months ago seem like a lifetime.   And on their latest visit we captured some further images of her in my studio.  I'll pop a little teaser of her 'now' while I think about putting a blog together covering our studio time...  I'll aim to post that before she starts school!  Ha!

A super cute, hair raising mini session... Introducing baby M.

I love mini sessions.  Especially with newborns; taking note of all those brand new details.  And what incredible details this little fella has.  That hair - holy mother of mohawks, it's absolutely amazing!

Miss L had a mini session with Mummy....

These images tell your story of an afternoon spent together while it's still just you and Mummy....  Walking together, holding hand.  Playing with Bun - the rabbit who loves to play catch.  Searching for bugs, then sitting quietly dreaming of the little brother or sister who is on their way.

Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these special moments for you both.  I'm certain you, Miss L, will be a fantastic big sister!

There's a new boy Baird........

First they were 2, then 3, and now 4.

The Bairds, who you may remember from Claire's maternity 'Preparation and Preservation' session, welcomed me into their home a short while ago to capture a morning with the newest arrival.

We spent an hour together cooing and capturing little baby boy as he was fed by his beautiful Mummy, cuddled by his doting Daddy and tickled by his super big sister!  I watched and clicked as both Mummy and Daddy took their turns at entertaining their eldest while the other watched over the toddler madness with their new little man.

Just an hour, documenting you being you at such a special time.  These moments are fleeting.  I barely remember this exact age with my 3, and they're still only young children.   Don't let these moments pass you by.  The Bairds didn't - and they'll always have these precious images to look back on and share with their growing family and close friends.
