A girl on her bike....

I had a morning with my eldest again.  She loves to ride her bike.  This is what I captured.

There is a new (to me) feel with these images.  Some of them feel so different from what I usually shoot.  I don't know what it is.  Maybe I've been inspired by other styles recently, subconsciously.  Or maybe I'm still finding my 'zone'?...  Who knows, but I'm happy and that's all that matters!

Beach life.... A photographer's daughter's request.

Can't believe this is my first blog in about 5 weeks!  WHAT??!!  I need a  kick up the bum, I really do!

Anyway, this little blog entry today is for my beautiful daughter (my eldest one, even though the youngest daughter is included too.)

We had been shopping for summer.  We go away on holiday in a few months and so we have been hitting the shops to get a few bits to take with us and wear when we're in the sunshine.  I spotted the maxi dress that Lilli wears in this set of images as we were browsing and I immediately could see the setting I would photograph her in.  The beach!

I had told her this at the time when we bought it and no doubt the following weekend when we had a bright morning she asked me if today was a good day for 'the dress' photo session.  I smiled and we got ourselves out.........  At 9am................... On a Sunday.................. And it was f-f-f-freeeeeezing!

But she was a trooper.  And eventually her little sister was coaxed out of her jacket too.  This is what we got. :)
